Symptoms: When running the Genetic Supervisor on large data sets, (1) an Application Error occurs on PC/Windows systems indicating a General Protection Fault in the module NEUR14.DLL at an address in the range 0003:0Dxx to 003:0Exx, or (2) a freeze-up or exception error occurs on Macintosh systems.
Problem: In Neuralyst V1.40 to V1.40a, input data sets or target data sets larger than 32767 values are not correctly handled by the Genetic Supervisor. As an example, a data set with 20 Input columns of 1700 rows, contains 34,000 input values which may cause this problem. Solution: Neuralyst V1.40b, or greater, corrects this problem and will handle data sets up to the normal operational limits of Excel and/or Neuralyst.
